Buyer's Agent for Brisbane and South East Queensland

Buy the right property.
Not just the one that looked good on the day.

Most buyers assess a property in ten minutes. Not enough time to evaluate structure, layout, drainage, renovation cost or whether the price reflects real value. I'm a Brisbane buyer's agent with 38 years of building design behind every inspection, so you can decide clearly, move confidently and avoid the mistakes that are hard to undo.

Buying in Brisbane shouldn't feel this hard.

You're doing everything right: attending inspections, checking listings daily, talking to brokers. But the market doesn't reward effort alone. It rewards clarity.

Missing out at auction

Properties keep selling above expectations and you don't understand why.

Confused by presentation

A fresh coat of paint and good styling makes every property look the same.

Afraid of buying the wrong one

Hidden structural issues, poor layout, overpaying. The risks feel invisible.

Not enough time

Work, family and life mean you can't be at every open home every weekend.

The market doesn't reward effort. It rewards clarity.

Most buyers are asked to make a major financial decision in ten minutes, judging value, layout, condition and risk all at once, under pressure, with incomplete information.

The answer isn't more open homes, more listings, or more opinions from people who aren't carrying the risk.

The answer is a clearer way to assess what's in front of you, so you can rule out weaker options faster and move with confidence when the right property appears.

"The market doesn't care how hard you try. It rewards the buyer who decides clearly."Corey Stevens, Buyer's Agent and Building Designer

Not just a buyer's agent.
A building designer who buys property.

Most buyer's agents in Brisbane evaluate location and price. I evaluate structure, design, liveability and potential, in real time, at the inspection.

Building-design assessment on site

With 38 years designing custom homes and renovations across SEQ, I assess visible construction indicators, layout and site conditions, drainage, roof form, layout efficiency and renovation potential at every inspection. I identify what to look for and what questions to ask the building inspector before you spend money on a report.

Design eye, not just a price eye

I assess how a home will actually function for you: layout flow, natural light, privacy, adaptability. A well-presented property can still be a poorly designed one. I show you the difference.

I work for the buyer. Only.

I'm not trying to sell you a property. My job is to find the right one, protect you from the wrong one, and negotiate from a position of knowledge, not pressure.

Brisbane buyer's agent services, tailored to how you're buying

Whether you're looking for a home to live in or a smart investment, my starting point is always the same: your brief and your budget need to align. When they do, good decisions follow. I also work as a standalone auction bidder.

Research, assessment and advice
in writing, not just words

Every engagement includes a set of deliverables most buyers never get. You'll know exactly what you're looking at before you make any decision.

Suburb Report

A full data report on your target suburbs covering median price, price growth over 1, 3, 5 and 10 years, days on market, rental yield, vacancy rate and buyer demand.

Property Report

For any property you're seriously considering, a detailed report covering comparable sales, price history, estimated value range and market context.

On-Site Assessment

My own structured building designer assessment at every inspection. Structure, drainage, roof, sub-floor, layout, liveability and renovation potential, captured in a written debrief. This does not replace a formal building and pest inspection.

Offer Strategy

A clear recommendation on whether to proceed, what price to offer and how. Based on comparable sales data, property condition and your brief. No guesswork, no pressure.

Corey Stevens, Buyer's Agent and Building Designer Brisbane

I decode properties.
So you can decide clearly.

I started my career as a cadet draftsman in 1988, 38 years ago. Since then I've worked as Head Draftsman, Senior Designer, and independent building designer across South East Queensland, designing custom homes and renovations for volume builders, boutique builders, and private clients.

My plans are clear, detailed, and easy to build from. There's no guesswork. That same precision is what I now bring to every property inspection. I'm not looking at paint and styling, I'm reading structure, layout, condition and real-world liveability.

I work with a small number of clients at a time because outcomes matter more than volume. My goal is simple: six months after you settle, I want you to look back and feel it all went exactly as expected, with clear, informed decisions.
